There wont be much in it. It will probably be slightly slower off the line than something that was manual to start with but there are plenty of other variables to change that anyway.

Put it this way; at 100km/h in 4th (manual) with auto diff you are doing about 2340rpm but change the diff ratio to the manual diff and you only slow down to 99.3km/h.

Disclaimer - this presumes I've done my calculations correctly...

hey guys if an auto to manual conversion is done to an r34 gtt and i replace standard ecu with powerfc will i have to change the whole wiring loom????

i am currently in the process of trying to fit the emanage ultimate to my car and it looks as though it may not work properly?? so a manual conversion is the path i may have to take to get my desired results.

if the loom doesn;t need changing theoretically it shouldnt be too hard

i have put together a list of some parts i think i will need.

Gearbox

clutch

clutch pedal box

power fc(handcontroller)

plastic gbox surround

new intrument cluster

eventually new steering wheel

tailshaft???

wiring loom??

Am i missing any parts i have pretty much just stated the obvious ar ethere any tricky little parts that i may be forgetting??

At the risk of hi-jacking a thread, how much is it to get a transmission conversion from Auto to Manual? Is there a massive benefit in doing this?

Anyone know the diff ratios for both auto & manual on the R34 GTT.

I am getting my gearbox swapped and wondering what kind of effect the change will have on acceleration, speedo, etc.

Anyone know?

Cheers.
