Hey skyman (sorry forgot your name),

Met you last Friday at the Calder Park drags, i have the red perl 33 with charcol rims.

At what rpm are you experiencing knocking?

Looking at you graph, i would say that it is pretty strong, it may have not reached the 250 mark, but i wouldn't be disappointed. Was the turbo brand new? Where did you buy it from? There are so many cheap Chineese products out there, that is currently flooding the market.

Hope to catch up at another Calder Drag Day.

3" you may find will be a restriction around 250rwkw its hard to say. it depends on the turbo a/r and the engine as well and how it flows (ie: lots of things). boost is a restriction to air, if you take away the restriction (aka larger exhaust) it can flow more air at the same boost pressure, and thus make more power. as more air being moved around makes more power. if he does find that dropping the exhaust gives him another 20rwkw odd ish then i woudl suggest looking into a 3.5" split dump/front pipe combo and a bigger cat, at least as a start anyway.

i dont think 3" is good enough for 300rwkw you can certaintly make that power with it (well i think anyway) it will just have stacks more backpressure and resistance. it would be much wiser to take away the resistance and make the power "easier" then causing lots of backpressure.

the powerfc boost controller kit uses the apexi avcr solenoid but different controller module / unit

I made almost 300rwkw with out cams... but once cams went in it jumped and was far more driveable... No stuttering or loss of power through the revs...

fpr and fuel pump are a must to go over 250rwkw... For safty reasons...
