Hi...After transplant the r33 to my A31 the boost stick at 4psi only even rpm hit to 7000rpm. Suspect the vacum pipe route are wrong connection. At the boost selonoid there is 2 nipple & elect. socket at bottom. How the nipple route arrangement ? My connection is, Top nipple direct to actuator & second nipple go to IC pipe with T junction.

It should be plumbed like this:

Hose with t-piece goes from I/C pipe to actuator. hose from t-piece to solenoid.

Other hose on soleniod feeds back into intake before turbo.

This results in air being bled from the I/C to Actuator hose when the soleniod is open, thereby reducing pressure on wastegate actuator and increasing boost.

Hope this helps.

Don't worry about the solenoid.. just take out the T-Piece - stick in a bleed valve in it's place..

if I recall correctly - top is the input.. bottom is the output on solenoid..

Sounds like you could have it around the wrong way.. swap it.. won't hurt the car..

and also - unless your car activates the solenoid at 4,500rpm.. you'll never get over 5psi of boost because of the way it works.. it opens and bleeds more air, causing the boost pressure to go up..

Thanks!

He would have the R33 ECU as well, so the solenoid will work. But if you want max boost all the time then just bypass the solenoid.
