Cleaning A Turbo

Hi all,

quick question.. picked up a turbo the other night which has been sitting around in a garage for a few months collecting dust, bugs and whatever else.

Whats the best way to completely clean the turbo, bearing core in particular?

Will be doing this tomorrow once we eventually get up And hopefully fitting it sometime soon also.

i would pull apart the turbo and clean it with carb cleaner then soak the bushs in oil for a while then reassemble it ....make sure you get it rebalanced or at least mark the comp wheel before you take it apart
