its way too late but there is a auto electrical / alternator and starter specialist at the corner of canal rd and princess hwy tempe. they have millions of reco alternators, damn cheap.

much better than getting a second hand one that might be half dead too

rbs just use some generic mitsubishi thing so they are easy to get

My mechanic swapped it over with a part he had laying around, $30 all up.

The alternator's not in "new" nick, only 13.4 @ idle. But it'll do the job for now. For $30 I no complain. :P

I might actually check that place out Duncan, cheers for that ;).
