That looks like really good value for money. Plenty of power to start a Nissan Unimog For me personally battery life matters a lot. For example Gooloo recommend recharging every three months. I'd probably do it in half that time to be safe and it would annoy me. So I'm somewhat justifying to myself paying more to only have to recharge once or twice a year. Looks like Noco did well in the testing in the video as well. Only skipped through the video but he has some slides with results at the end. -
There's no seal on an R34 cap, and as it just clips on, I wouldn't think that you could get it to stay put if you snuck even a 1mm piece of soft neoprene foam under there.

What specific car is this? I know for sure my R33 has a rubber sealing gasket on the cap. Not unusual to get a bit of seepage from it either. -

Here's mine for context, 3.5" turbo back, SP Mufflers and you can hear the solid lifters over the exhaust lol. I still believe I have the quietest R33 Skyline that's over 400kW. -
I painted all the top area both sides and down as low as I could get, up to firewall which is original, under the right lighting you can see the mismatch, it's got a hint of blue as I said before. I had rust in same places you are dealing with.
