R34 Technical Help Needed!

As mentioned in the topic descrition the engine light, traction control and slip light are on and the engine is missfiring and running like shit!! ( is the car running in 'limp home mode'? ) If i take it to a mechanic with a scan tool would they be able to help me?

tried turning car off then on again but did not do anything?

Not sure if there may be a fuse blown or something loose?

help needed please!! ASAP!!

Take it to your local nissan dealer and get them to plug their consult in. That will tell you the error codes and you can go from there.

Hi man,

I have just had the same thing happen to me and you wouldn't think it possible but to both of my R34s (a 98 and 2000 model). Their not turbo so I only got the engine light.

It turned out to be the coils...... No: 4 on one and No: 5 on the other.

I did a self diagnostic and had error code 21 and/or 33.

Replaced the bad coils and all sweet again.

is the coil failure due to heat or moisutre?? just curious as a friend of mine had the same problem.

Age. Mine died at a genuine 66000 kms.

one of mine died at 40000 and another at 50000. Sounds pretty bad hey runs like shite. If you are changing them yourself clean them up and coat the inside of rubber boot with dieletric grease.

Thanxs for everyones input, we put it on nissan consult and o2 sensors gone and coils. Its under warranty so thats a load of my mind.
