from the FAQ:

"Does Shell plan to put ethanol in any of its other fuel products?

Following the success of Shell Optimax Extreme and in support of the Federal Governments commitment to biofuels targets, our intention at this stage is to expand our use of ethanol. But, as there are some vehicles that are unable to use fuel containing ethanol, Shell does not plan to put ethanol in all petrol products"

well i put it in my car for the firs time i am going to take the car to get tuned though next week as from what i have read it has to be done if you use this stuff

ran a half tank, car ran fine except i think it was running a we bit leaner, in winter that would be good but now, no thanks

well my car is running to rich anyways so maybe it running a tad leaner will do it some good

get it retuned Lee dont want to hear about it meltting a piston!! Thats if you plan on running 100 all the time.

Ran it a few times now. It is a LOT smoother than 98, however it really does need tuning to be effective.

it contains 5% ethanol, so i'd be re-tuning your cars ASAP!!! there are no hard facts about this fuel yet, (regarding to how it affects your motor). we all know that it will run leaner, but exactly how much??? i would be very careful indeed.......

My GTR is in the shop now getting tuned for Boost98 (10% ethanol) as Extreme is not available in enough places to warrant switching to it.

I wont be able to give a direct comparison with normal 98octane as I am having other work done as well,only feedback from my tuner in regards to timing and fuel maps.

yea i agree luke getting it tuned sooner than later is a very good idea as mine is not punching out big power it shouldnt be as important but yea i will be getting it done very soon

and turbo, cams, fuel pump, injectors ummm that should about do ya for the time being

then forgies and up the boost to 25psi haha not going to happen for a while
