where any vacuum hoses changed? i know i had problems when i used bigger hoses for my turbo's bleed valve and blow off set up, started causing a lil drama's

also take out those irridiums and get some ngk copper plugs, ull have less drama's

My Suggestions;

1. What plug gap? Should be 0.8 mm, not 1.1 mm as they usually come.

2. Have you checked the ignition timing? Autos run more initial ignition advance than manuals, it may be necessary to set the timing at 20 degrees instead of 15 degrees. Try both and compare.

3. Have you had a leak down test done? Results?

4. I have never seen a Mines ECU work very well in Australia, get a hold of a standard ECU and compare. You could spend much time and money chasing other things when the ECU is the real problem.

5. Pull the bulb in the cat overheat warning light.

Hope that helps

:( cheers :)

un plug the 02 sensor. it sounds silly but it will eliminate it as a problem. evan if its new it could be the wrong one.

also if you can get hold of a fuel presure guage it would be handy.,tell the mechanic to test it while hes up it.

(be carful not to place it under the wipers as i broke a windscreen doing it that way)

does it have a foam type airfilter,or any aftermarket air filter?

from what it sounds like these are my main suspect parts:

1-air flow meter

2-fuel pump

3-02 sensor(will be ok when cold but f**k out after about 2-3 mins)

4-ignition igniter.-finned thing at the back of the motor

5-coolant temp sensor

if had to fix a whole heap of these problems with cars coming of the boat, and its usaly in that order.

    • Evening fam, Pretty much what the title asks, I have looked all over and can’t find a proper answer expect one post from almost a decade ago which is vague. ive seen photos and they look pretty much identical, would an r33 GTR N1 reo work on an r32? reason I ask is they are cheaper to buy… $700 compared to 1k+ for an r32 n1 reo

    • Yeah was thinking that. I've had the car go lower idle possibly around 650rpm every once in a long time after pouring fuel and would sound quite rough like a misfire, almost like it's shit fuel or something but who knows.
    • @Wazmond you are correct, my bad, was not my intent    https://www.facebook.com/share/15ZMn5oXtc/ Updated Event (so its not private and can be shared easier)  Attempting to coordinate a big push of Stagea's to this years GTR Festival. Great event last year and hoping for the same this year.    I've emailed them to ask to set a location aside for the Stageas for the show and shine - they are happy to do so if we can get them numbers, I'm happy to keep track of that. Entering as Nismo category.    I'll be road tripping up from Melbourne, would be cool to convey if people are interested, maybe there is SAU convoys from each capital? If you have ideas about that let me know.    https://gtrfestival.com.au
