Sorry mate, at this stage i'm not willing to separate. what did you hit, doesn't sound like a fun job. half cuts should be readily available, as people often get stagea cuts for the RB25 instead of R33 cuts, as they're a lot cheaper. i'd try import wreckers

No probs. PM sent.

The missus lost it on a dirt road and hit a bank :D

Ive had a brief look for half cuts. Been quoted $6600 for one which is a hefty price.

Not sure where too look for a better price as yet.

Ive been searching for a few days and I will be for a while yet, me thinks.

as we are all pretty civilised,

Ditto to this, this is the first forum I've ever signed up to or read extensively and I must say that the reason I joined was due to the level of conversation, Both in terms of cleanliness, technical advice, and "I'll go outside, take the wheels of my car and have a look for you" type of help.

All you's guys deserve a pat on the back.

What makes it more surprising for me is that I assumed and surmised from reading the threads that most of you were older, possibly family guys, that had owned your fair share of Skylines over the years and had graduated to the civilised luxury and functional practicallity of the Stagea Sports Wagon.

After all, when you go shopping with the family you want to get there in 14.5secs.

But I realised something was amiss when I saw the money some of you were happy to throw at your pride and joy and I know this aint possible with families.

SO just in case you were wondering, I'm 40 this year and have a bus company to run, so I gotta get some sleep now.

For that price, might as well do the R34 front.

Other option, buy a 180,000Y auto N/A stag in jp, import it for about ~4,000 and then use the parts you need and sell the rest. I want some interior parts.

Yeh, id like to do the R34 front but the missus likes the stag front better and its her car :D

That could be a cheaper option. Bit of stuffing around though.

Would I still have to get it complied? I wouldnt be driving it.

Any advise on where to get it imported through?

:D

Gr33dy ... l'll send you a pic of it first!!

Nope, wouldn't need compliance.

VrFour on here would be able to import it in for you.

If u do decide to go through it, let us know, as l'll def want a couple of parts.

Uhh, maybe i should go about and import one, strip it and sell it off in parts.

RORO that car will cost 1800 for shipping, 250 the car, other bullshit fees in japan maybe 500 (i dont know??) and then other fees/costs that we wont have thought of ~1000

So all in all, the $4000 estimate was about dead on.

The thing is, I think i would be stuck with heaps of parts that no body could use. Like, who needs a rear quater window, or a axle or dash etc. You know what i mean. I just dont have the storage for that kind of a thing.

I was told by the SEVS workshop of a guy in Brisbane that 3 stagea's for wrecking and has another 2 or 3 coming over for parts aswell

Once I get his number (I currently have the wrong one) I will let everyone know.

AlexCim - I have the same concerns, being stuck with parts I cant sell. Also finding the time to strip it.

darrinspencer - sounds good, look forward to getting the number.

Are half cuts easy to find?

Ok, you guy's can thank me later for this LOL

$150 for a stocker wing eh, hmmmmmmmm might have to start saving my pretty pennies :P

Hey why not have a sticky thread:

"Stagea Part Dealers"

and put down everyone everybody uses so that it is in one place?
