thanks guys for your reply,

Yeh turbo'ing my current engine my be option but i rather engine conversion.

i cant just put a normal rb25det in the engine bay coz normal rb25det is rear wheel drive where as mine is 4wd. it will just cost more.

Hmmmz, im just lost...:|

you can also use a AWD RB25DET engine out of a laurel, gloria or cedric... not just a stagea.

but yes, AWD RB25DET's never came out in a Skyline, and of the cars that it did feature in, very very few of them are manuals. So you gotta be careful with your diff ratios, or risk ATTESA having a hissy fit.

The engine (Stagea RB25DET) for my conversion cost me $3800, 18 months ago. It came complete with an auto box, which I basically discarded (since my 'line is manual).

There is no need to fret about the differences in diffs causing havoc with ATTESSA. It is relatively easy to swap the (front) diff out of your current setup into the Stagea engine. Or fit a Stagea rear diff at the same time. If yours is already a manual, then it's also relatively easy to transfer the flywheel / clutch onto the RB25DET - only requires a new spigot bearing.

RB20DET would be a waste of time. That's why I put the 25 in my 'line in the first place (R32 GTS4) - would be even worse trying to haul around a lard-arse R33 with a gutless RB20DET (but, if you want one...)
