Send a PM to 'Duncan' and see if he has more ATTESSA controllers for sale.

And if you're after help, cut the sms talk dude. There is no saving in typing 'no' instead of 'know'. It just makes it hard to read and pisses people off. Also try breaking your post up into bite size chunks commonly known as sentences. Cheers.

pulling the fuse makes it 100% rear wheel drive until you refit the fuse.

you can make your car 2wd while driving along in 4wd. step 1, put your foot on the clutch while driving, step 2, turn the ignition off while your foots still on the clutch, step 3, turn ignition back on and foot off the clutch, now you will be in 2wd without having to pull the fuse out. to ensure your in 2wd the orange 4wd light will be lit on the dash. please note that this is only possible on the R32 GTR's. the car will automatically go back into 4wd mode when you bring the car to a complete stop.

hope some of you lucky GTR owners have learnt something new, happy sliding... B)

You can get a torque splitter than will do the job as well.

Dude refer post #2. That's what an ATTESSA controller is.

Overboost, yep, they can adjust it to your liking, from max split to no split. The search engine will turn up all the answers. :)

Heath I hope you've been behaving yourself mate! :) hehehe

The ATTESSA system in the R32 GTR is pretty good for its torque-split-ness. I notice it only kicks in (that is, the front torque guage shows a reading) when I launch hard from a standing stop or I go over slight bump on the freeway etc.

It will never have more than 50% of the drive at the front wheels anyway and to get that you wouldn't have time to notice what the guage is reading as you adjust the awesome slide you are in :)

Just for those that aren't aware, the torque split gauge does not measure a percentage, it measures kilogram.metres, ie torque.

A reading of 50 on the gauge does not mean you're driving an overweight STi :D

That said, when your GTR rolled out of the factory years ago with its claimed 353Nm. That's around 36kgm, so a stock car won't see 50

Yeah, happy sliding for me too yesterday then a bit of a drift around the corner, then the backend broke loose and more oversteer, then I put a bit more throttle in to get the front torque to pull me straight but...

Round I went 180 degrees, parallel crashing into the 30cm high kerb on the other side of the road.

Damn it sucks crashing and f*#king up your wheels, suspension arms front lip and spoiler, and throw in a front crossmember and cv joint too. Only happened yesterday arvo Just out of lithgow heading back to sydney.

My fault, going too quick around a corner.

Take it easy guys.

Damn Sean! I saw your car for the first time last week too! Well as long as you're alright mate.

I had a 'moment' coming down Hawkesbury Rd a fortnight ago on a Friday morning when the road was greasy. I was trying to suss out how the torque split works and I did a similar thing but *just* retained control (it was a 35kmh left into a 25kmh right I think). Learned a good lesson! No damage, never connected with anything but enough to speed up the ticker for a few k's.

If you're after parts, let me know, cause I bought a stack (bumper etc) when I had my car painted and have a fair idea of how much Nissan can sell them for.

Mark
