I have seen that car before. you bive in or bought it from the leichhardt area right?

you will never be able to register it if you are really going to put a6.4 or 6.7lt V8 in it.

Also I hope you only like going in a straight line because it is going to corner like shit with a cast iron V8 over the front wheels...

O ye of little faith.

I must ask have you ever modified a car beyond taking it to tempe tyres to get new rims?

In regards to your statement about only going straight I would like to make a few points about the engine swap. For a start the stroked smallblock 318/360 will sit further back than the L24 and also lower. This weight will be far better positioned with most of it behind the front wheel line. It will only increase the overall weight by about 70kg

Considering the lower ride height, upgraded suspension and brakes I cannot see how it's handling will be lessened from what I'm used to. But then hey maybe you know what your talking about and have measured the engine bay from a 240k to see if a V8 will fit.

Maybe you've spent hours talking to engineers about rego requirements, I don't know but somehow I think not. The roll cage is for rego not to hold the roof up.

This car has never been around the leichardt area. It was built in the early nineties in Roseberry where it then sat for the next ten years before I put it on the road for one year. It did 190km down foreshore and loved getting flat shifted to 2nd to step out the rear end.

The car was built by panelbeaters. It is heavier than one with a roof and can lift both side wheels when a jack is placed in the middle of the sill. It passed it's engineers report with no noticable body deflection at all.

I'll be spending about 12k on it with only 1k put aside for a spray job. lol

P.s I've been quoted 330kw for 6k if you don't believe me look at w.moparmarket.com search the parts section only, with keywords 360 318 and you'll see how cheap mopar muscle is.
