Help! I just got my turbo timer installed today and have an issue.

Current situation:

Turn Car off, turbo timer counts down, Get out, close door, press arm button on alarm remote (doors lock but car doesn't arm), timer finishes -> engine turns off and doors unlock. Alarm can now be armed.

What I want:

To be able to arm alarm while turbo timer is counting down and when engine cuts out it will stay locked and armed!

First of all is this possible? And 2nd what do I need to change in the set up?

Check your Alarm manual. It should say if it has support for Turbo Timers. Some dont. If it does you should be able to connect the wire to the back of the TT. There will be a pin for this.

The place where I got my alarm say they can connect it up so that I can arm my alarm while the TT counts down. However, it says nothing in the manual about support for a TT. Does this mean they are going to bypass something? In which case will that mean someone could hot wire my car throught the TT?
