how'd you go - did you check out the solenoid?

We had a look the other day when my friend spotted the issue. Solenoid looked fine well from the outside anyway, will have another look tonight after work. So anything specific that I should be checking looking at?

The stock boost guage IS accurate. Your boost levels are fine, and for the record...the 34 guage reads in different measurement anyway.

Don't compare your guage to your friends 34 guage. Just take a reading...go to google and type in 'convert mm/hg to PSI'. Then work out your boost level from there. You will see that the stock guage is ok.

Thought that might be the chase witht the R34

But irrespective, I did a conversion, and 7 X 100mmHg is equal to around 13.5psi and not 14.5psi as many have stated here. So the half way mark is around 6.75psi, therefore for 7/8psi I would expect the gauge to read above the the half way marking, which my car is not doing at full boost.... please correct me if I am wrong
