im gonna sound kinda stupid but how do you take the tie rod off the cefiro at the wheel end??... i took the clip off... undid the bolt but the thing refuises to come out... is there moer to it then just the pin and the nut??

hmmm.. any help would be greatly appreciated.. hehe

they are held in there pretty tight

your best bet is to find the biggest hammer you can possibly find, the best thing is to use a sledge hammer with a shortened handle

put the nut on the top of the tread just to cover the thread a bit so it doesnt get damaged, and then

SMASH THE HELL OUTTA IT

and it should pop out eventually...

the correct way of getting ball joints out is not by hitting the threaded section with a hammer but rather the side of the cast arm, hit the side of it hard and suddenly with a decent weighted hammer, the impact looses the taper and it just falls out, also with no damage to the thread or nut :D

both ways are correct the 1st way is to remove the outer steering ends and the second for the ball joints (two different parts) the only thing i would different is after u put the nut back on so that the treads dont get damage is to put a small 2x4 piece of wood on top the nut for a little added protection and then hit it with the hammer.
