Running Hot And Losing Fliud

hi guys.. im new to the forum and new to my rb20...

i own an r32 gtst and today on my way home from work noticed the temp guage reading higher than it normally does. got home and check the fluid levels in the radiator (once the car had cooled)

started it up abt 10min later to go fill up with fuel and the fluid rusty coloured fluid started pissing out..

its coming from (excuse the scrappy description) behind the biggest middle pulley at the front of the engine... i am guessing water pump?

am i looking at needing the water pump replaced??

check for water in the oil , and compressing test the raidator if you are worryed about it being a head gasket, sorry to say if you cant find it your self, take and pay someone to fix it. Use a specialised raditor place or good machnic

awww any oil in the radiator? or water in the oil.... hope you sort it out

Ppls, he said its leaking water from the water pump.

So he needs to replace his water pump, has it had its 100,000km service? :S

its going into the mechanic first thing sat morn... geez i hate public transport...

Yes.

They have a little hole that corrodes first and springs a leak.

Much better than not knowing its corroded until the clutch fan has mashed your radiator and bonnet. :S
