Hi fellas

Im in the market for the boost controller and would like to hear your thoughts.

What do you recknon is the one that stands out appart from apexi.I was having a look at Blitz SBC Spec S which is single solenoid boosting upto 1.2 bars. Seems very good, the down side is being a single solenoid. If you've got any suggestions please advise me of it

Thank you

I recommend the GReddy Profec B-Spec II.

The cheapest JDM EBC and it holds boost well. Comes with bells & whistles such as peak boost recording, gain settings, real-time boost reading (like a digital boost gauge).

However it is only single solenoid. Shouldn't be a problem unless you're going to be running huge PSI.

i run a Blitz SBC-iD, holds up to 2.5bar and it's dual solenoid.

So far have had no issues what-so-ever and it mounts very nicely in an R32 ashtray to keep prying eyes in the dark. Kind of nice that it has so many options and that you can pick them up used for about 300$

I bought it because everything in my car must be controllable from the interior and a manual boost controller doesnt offer that. It's a wonderful little toy purely because of that feature alone.

Don't know from experience, but I've heard good things about the dual solenoid version of the one you're talking about. Blitz SBC Spec R. Autobarn have them retailing for $799, and the Spec S for $599, but I know you can get the Spec R (dual) delivered for $500 if you do your research :)
