Seat Belts Acting Up - Help!

Hi all

My passenger side seat belt for the 34 is acting up.

From some site I foudn that the 34 has Front seat belt pre-tensioners, Front seat belt force limiters.

The problem is the passenger side seat belt often doesnt wind up by itself. So when a passenger gets out, the belt is just hanging there, you have to push or reel it back in.

When you pull it out suddenly it locks as its supposed to, but its just a pain sometimes as it doesnt wind back up by itself easily.

Any ideas guys?

most of the jap belts i've seen are like that. they are just a little 'lazy'. i don't know if there is anything you can do short of replacing them.

Lazy indeed, and quite annoying! How the hell do they get like this? Anybody got any ideas on how to fix?

They look like standard belts to me, not the ugly ones that come through during compliance.

make sure there not getting tangled inside... otherwise, time to replace your belt!
