Hi Folks,

Thanks for the terrific show of support for Kids Race Day next year.

While those of us involved in KRD are really still recovering from Sunday, some things are already starting to take shape for next year. While nothing has been confirmed yet, at this stage, it seems as though I will once again be running the North Circuit is a similar format to the one we developed this year. Similarly, whilst not yet confirmed it is more than likely that it will be held on Sunday the 17th of December. Please remember that none of this is confirmed as yet and the planning proper won't actually start until February. As soon as I have confirmation of the date and format, I will ask Mark to let you all know.

Paul, thanks for being able to make it at such short notice, it was appreciated. Your car looked great on the day, even when it was standing still, and it sounded awesome when you left the pit lane. Having a small contingent from SAU next year would be just magic.

I realise that Mark posted my thank-you note in your motorsport section, although just in case Paul didn't see it, I hope you won't mind me embedding it in here also :(

Thanks again guys, and we will definitely keep you posted with dates for 2006 as soon as we have them.

Cheers, Brenton

Hi Guys and Gals,

I have just got home and I am beat, as I am sure that you are too.

I had to drop in a short note to thank those of you who came out to Oran Park today as drivers and officials.

While this may come as a bit of a surprise, there were over 250 kids today who you were instrumental in helping smile for just a moment. Unfortunately some of them may not be able to return next year, although I know you will join me in hoping that they do.

To our drivers, what can I say; all of you were simply unbelievable. Not one puff of dust yet thrills a plenty. The kids had an absolute blast and while I know that you did not get to see their faces as they hopped out of your car with their helmet on, their faces were still beaming once the helmet was removed. B)

I would like to offer a special thanks to the guys from the NSCC Officiating Team who helped me run the North Circuit. The way you guys pull together as a team during our events and work the track management at events like these, is simply outstanding. I can't find the right superlatives to describe what a stellar job you all did in every area. Under your care and supervision, the entire day ran like a finely tuned SR20DET on full-boost and as usual, it didn't miss a beat. Thanks guys.

To the wife's, girlfriends, and sisters who helped with the kids, you were terrific and we couldn't have run the day without you. The special care and friendly nature that you showed to the children was just the right magic touch. A huge, and sincere thank-you for just being, well ... Simply wonderful :)

To the kids; On behalf of everyone involved with the Oran Park North Circuit and Kids Race Day, we hope you had as much fun as we did and we would like to thank you for allowing us to share a special moment with you. We hope that you have a safe and happy Christmas and we look forward to seeing all of you again in 2006.

Take Care and thanks again to everyone involved.

Sincerely, Brenton

    • Yeah one of the first things I out in when I started having catch can filling up issues. Still prefer to empty 1-2 times a track day rather than every session
    • You'll find this link is probably more useful  Performance Turbochargers - Garrett - G GT GTX GTW Series Turbo TBG G35 1150 map may not even get added to my list depending on how it looks, the G35 1050 already is a mixed bag for making the numbers you would expect from the compressor map due to mismatch - I don't know how another 10lb/min of compressor flow is going to make that any better.   I've left out others for similar reasons as it's already getting quite big.   In terms of Precision, provide me with legit compressor maps for them and I'll do my thing   I'll add some more of the newer Xona Rotor options are they're pretty boss, I'd take a 68mm Xona over a G35 "1150" any day of the week - or Precision for that matter.
    • Ahh got it. Well maybe install a drain for the catch can somewhere down low and accessible like a wheel well too....
    • Before you blow your car up, have you checked you've made all the correct modifications to the wiring if you're still using the RB20DE loom?   Some things to look at: The pin used for the map sensor on the RB25DET, is the same pin used on the RB20DE for the Ring Gear Crankshaft Position Sensor, no idea what you've got it plugged into now. The turbo pressure control valve solenoid you're talking about on the RB25DET, the same pin is used for the Variable Air Intake Control Valve on the RB20DE.   The factory manual has the wiring pinouts in it for you to check everything. It also has the diagnostics process to read codes out. In addition, there's a great table that shows what sensors and what actuators not functioning will relate to which signals. And Nissan confirm the as everyone else has from experience, the Solenoid being disconnected won't cause a fuel cut. However, the turbo pressure sensor being missing / wrong, WILL cause a fuel cut. https://www.nicoclub.com/service-manual?fsm=Skyline%2FR34-Workshop-Manual-English.pdf
    • I've been hunting info on the G Series II - this is best I have found so far(Link below). Still waiting on the G35-1150 comp map, kind of very keen   So how do we go about getting precision on that little table of yours ?   https://turbosbytm.com/sites/default/files/product/technical-info/Garrett-G-Series-II-Product_Flyer 25 30 35_1.pdf
