I have finally fitted the B&M Megashaifter. Took 4hrs last night.

It has a serious interior to match the serious underbonet now.

Does anyone know of a place that has sells something I can cut up and use as a patch to cover the hole in the trasmition tunnel?

Some sort of carpet with a little heat shielding characteristic.

I've taken my digi cam home again I'll try to remember to take some pics tonight.

The next cruize to the dam I might take it along if its ready.

I spent the day fitting a new starter motor ( the 11.5 to 1 compression kills them) and I rebuilt the carb, re-jetted and a little modification. Still need to fix the secondaries on fuel.

So far the new shift kitted and beefed up auto is alot of fun, shame that I didn't convince the wife to go the high stall
