Cutting Bit Of Fan Dor Cooler Piping

Hey guys!

I have just installed a intercooler kit on my r33 s1.it is a hybrid copyI had to trim the edge of the fins from the fan in front of the radiator, which the cooler pipe goes on top of, cooler pipe leading to throttle body.\

Have anyone had to do this and does it have any effects on the cooling??

I had to do the same to mine mate had the cooler on for 12 months car never gets hot made do difference it will be fine

i was told i needed to cut them aswell, but i was worried it would out balances the fan.. also a good mechanic i know recommended not to do it, unlike so many people have..

but i managed to fit my kit to tight that i sits over the fan and didnt have to cut the blades at all ..ill get a pic later on

Trimming the fan has nothing to do with timing does it????

Nah... This is a common mod when putting larger coolers on. You'll be sweet.
