Xr6 Turbo Upgrade

So, has anyone actually put one of the new Ford turbo's onto an RB25DET?

Interested to find out how it went because i just found one I could buy...

I have searched forums, found 1 or 2 on a RB20DET, but none on a RB25DET.

Info would be greatly appreciated.

He has on an RB26, and he's spot on IMO.

Your putting a turbo that comes from a what, 4ltr onto something not far-gone from half that.

It's larger in size than a GT30, which come on approx 4000-4300rpm depending on the setup.

Smaller turbo will make you a much happier man and provide a much better power curve

yea ive got it on a rb26 (bored to 27)

still abit laggy

if i had my way again ill would be putting a t04z garrett on witha .81 rear

and thats whet ill do in a few months and shoot for 400rwkw
