Some Chrissy cheer, borrowed and edited from another forum

A Visit from Saint NicholaS!

Twas the Night before Christmas and all through the town.

Not a Skyline was zipping or cruising around.

The stockings were hung by the tool box with care.

In hopes that St. NicholaS would leave something there.

SAU members were tucked up tight in their beds,

While visions of Skylines raced through their heads

My car under cover and I in my cap,

All I could think of was my hottest last lap

When out on the driveway there arose such a clatter

I sprung from my '32 to see whats the matter

Away to the window I flew like a flash

I ripped down the blinds as I tripped over the trash.

The moon on the bonnet of my ripper R car,

Threw a glow in the night both near and far

When what to my wondering eyes should appear?

But a shiny red 'Line and eight Japanese deer!

With a little old driver that liked to go quick,

I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.

More rapid than a Supra his coursers they came,

And he whistled and shouted and called out their name:

"Now, R32! Now, R33! Now, Cefiro and Modded GTR!

On, R34! On, Laurel! On Stagea and Godzilla!

On down the driveway, stay away from the wall!

Now zip away, speed away, zip away all!"

As fast 'Lines burn rubber while a twisty track they fly,

When they meet with a curb, and mount to the sky.

So up my Court the Skyline flew,

The Nissan full of car stuff and Saint NicholaS too!

And in 0 to 60 I heard on my drive

The clutching and shifting of a 5 speed overdrive.

As I drew in my head and was turning around

Into the garage St. NicholaS did bound!

He was all dressed in Nomex from his head to his foot,

His jump suit was tarnished with oil and soot.

A bundle of race parts he took off his back.

He looked like a parts dealer just opening his pack!

His eyes - how they twinkled.

His dimples how merry.

His helmet said Bell,

Bright red like a cherry!

His droll little mouth was drawn up in a grin

With a bit of black gold smeared on his chin.

The tip of an exhaust pipe he held in his teeth,

And the smoke encircled his head like a big Christmas wreath.

He had a broad face and a little beer belly

That shook, when he laughed, like a bowl full of jelly.

He was jolly and plump - a right jolly elf.

And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself.

A twist of his head, and a wink like a star,

I knew he'd take care of my much thrashed GTR!

He spoke not a word but went straight to work,

Changing my turbo, he then turned with a jerk,

And laying his finger aside of his nose

And giving a nod - out the garage door he goes.

He jumped in his Skyline, to his team he did whistle

And raced down the street like a Tomahawk missile!

But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight:

"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!"
