No Oil To First Lobes

the first lobes on my cams, both sides, arnt getting any oil just causing them too sease, ive changed the head so it cant be that, does any one have an idea as to why they wouldnt be getting any oil, i put new oil in it when i changed the head, is tarted it up and it died 10 mins later

Use thinner oil or maybe oil tunnels are blocked there running up to the head? You sure you checked them before you put the head back on and didn't leave anything in them?

but if the rest of the lobes are getting oil it cant be blocked, cause if it was all other lobs would be dry aswell

Are you sure you mean lobes.... or journals?

(Journals run in the head/cam cap)

sorry the journals, not the lobes, there is no lubrication there and its ruining the machined face on them. ne ideas

Sounds like the oil feed in the front is blocked.

There are 3 feeds to the head, one dedicated gallery (yours is blocked) and two others that feed up next to the head bolts.

This is the case for the RB26.....

I presume you are talking about an rb20det?
