basically i have a way i can get positive pressure up to about 7psi into my non turbo R34 RB25DE neo engine. however if it hits that, the ecu cuts out and the engine stalls.

i want to obviously run +boost.. what do i NEED to get so i can run that positive boost im SURE the fuel pump + injectors can atleast handle 3-4psi because i mean common i doubt they would put in factory items which are basically 'maxed out' from factory. so im guessin its the AFM or ecu .. maybe both

so what do i need so i can hit boost :P

I had the same issue trying to run the RB30DET on the rb20det ecu.

At around 7psi or so a fuel cut would occur and it would go dangerously lean.

Only option is a remap or aftermarket ecu as the std maps don't have the head room.

My method of generating positive pressure (hehe) is driving really really fast with a 500mm dia snorkle in front of the radiator that tapers down at a 12.5degree angle to 80mm dia, this then feeds in to the afm (mesh removed to reduce pressure drop) then directly in to the cross over pipe. ;)

:P
