near new? PFFT..

2 tyre shops told us that the model of tyre is  about 5/6yrs old. Both tried to fit the tyre and both couldn’t get the pressure to hold. My friend is not a tyre specialist. Looking at the tyre with a spotlight doesn’t exactly reveal small cracks that form after the rubber hardens.

i know your trying to stick up for you buddy but u got it all wrong.

i can honestly say i never fitted the tires and therefore never knew the problem even exsisted. if i did fit them and found that problem i guess i would be upset but i dont think i would go after them on a public forum.

next time i sell anything i will tripple check the qualtiy of the item before selling.

wish there was something i could do to help your friend out. after all he seemed like a top bloke pitty he drives a supra i think i still have his number in my phone, get him to give me a buzz if he is that upset and will try and work something out.
