The RB30 is a 3ltr, the 3ltr from the R31 Skyline or VL Commodore. Not a 2.8ltr.

The 2.8ltr stroker kit is bought from japan from Jun.

Sky30 used a second hand running 270,000km's RB30, dropped it in his R32 GTST bolted on a R32 RB25DE head and off he went - Very side ways.... :(

$$ - What ever a second hand RB30e and r32 rb25de head costs, + a few gaskets and the modification of engine mounts. ~$70 if you pay some one to do it.

If you are a little mechanically minded the job can be done for rather cheap.

mmm, i'm only up to just over $3000 and thats everything major new and reconditioned! Can't beat the rb30 for value and bang for buck, thats for sure!

wait till the injectors max out, the fuel pump shits it, the afm is too small, the std turbo is too small, the exhaust needs to be free flowing, the exhaust manifold sucks, the cams will be played with at some point, the pfc is installed (then tuned with a datalogit - u will need to do this), then when u think you have finished upgrading the gearbox will go, the rear subframe will now flex on its old mounts, and finally the tyres that you classed as expensive will be a must because there is no way the torque will get put to the ground.....

Thats about 9k (being conservative)....

But the actual motor is a cheap job.....

sky30 has addressed this issue. lol.

$50 your engine cost.. thats insane. Such a pitty I didn't go that route.

The price that was paid is between Andrew and i if you

wish to know private message andrew and he will tell

you if he so wishes to.

There is a new line in the future but this is at least 12

months away yet. for now i will be buying a brand new

nissan Pulsar to get around in, then hopefully a 34 in 1 to 2

years time.

Hope you all had a nice christmas.

Have a good one guys and girls.

i know exactly what u mean but included in that figure was the turbo, injectors and fuel pump which i already have, but we'll let everyone think its too hard and expensive to do so that no more 32's do this conversion! hehe!
