Window Clunking Bad

Lately my drivers window has started clunking when it goes up. about 2 cm from the top it clunks like its missing a tooth and the window doesnt go up (but the auto window switch causes it to keep clunking until the button is pushed. If i pull the window while its going up its ok but yeah. I'm not happy...

What do i do?

This happened to me on my R33...

Then one day when i really didnt need it to happen (i was on my way to a funeral), the friggin window fell into the door... The bolt thing holding the window to the control arm snaped...

It may not be the same sorta deal but either way, take your door skin off and try to self diagnose whats going on.

I just had the door skin off as i was refitting my speakers. Its diffiult to diagnose when it just goes clunk! also when theres shit loads of metal in the way
