This may have been asked b4, but i will ask again. I have just purchased a set of 19 inch rims and tyres. The tyres are Hankook silica (not sure of type), with profile, at rear, 275/30/19. These feel great while driving (better than my 205/50/16 Yokahamas on my stockies), but i feel i am able to spin the wheels too easily :) . Even though i enjoy this, it indicates a lack of traction.

Can anyone recommend a set of tyres that have a soft ride (the car wears Tein adjustables all round), and maximum traction/handling especially in the wet?

Thanks

Al

I doubt you will get a soft ride with a 30 profile tyre - just wont happen. For grip, I have heard really good things about the RE540 Bridgestones. I have goodyear revspecs which arent too bad but will light up without too much hassle if I try. The RE540s are alot cheaper than the revspecs though and they will be my next tyre.
