  1. Hi all, I need to know what thread sizes the high pressure and low pressure power steering rack ports are as I'm planning to find fittings to convert them to AN. Any info appreciated.
  2. So here's a pic of how it sits with the side bits. I'll get some better pics in the light. The side bits actually attach to my pods (I'll get a pic of them too). The only problem is that they stick out a bit further out than my pods because the diffuser is originally for a r33 gtr.
  3. I've got it fitted to my 33 gtst with the side bits. They indeed make it lower but I've moddified the front two brackets to bring it up higher. I'll see if I can get some pics.
  4. Where is the line for the stock boost guage?
  5. Hi all, I just forked out a lot of coin for a HKS GTRS turbo. I still need to get further supporting mods to run the turbo efficiently (ecu, injectors etc). I've already got the turbo installed and currently driving with it. My question is,is it safe to run the turbo on standard ecu and injectors? For the meantime anyways. When I give it a bit,the engine suddenly surges an runs rough,I know I know. Any help would be appreciated.
  6. Second and third posts, cut the crap. I'm plumbing it back into the system. Not trying to impress school girls here. Besides old one was playing up.
  7. I have tried searching everywhere for answers on both BOVs but can't come up with anything. So the situation is I have both the bovs. The problem is both these bovs are giving me compressor surge at light throttle. Surge would mean spring is too stif,so the SSQV is as loose as it can get but still doing it. On the type s,the valve is open at idle because the vacuum was pulling it open,I adjusted the screw on top so that it stays shut at idle, yes it stays shut at idle but it's too stiff to vent at even medium throttle. The car is running stock boost (rb25) so I'm thinking boost might need to be raised to overcome spring pressure? Even at light throttle (low boost-5 psi?) with it surging it wouldn't be enough to hurt the turbo? Any help would be great.
  8. Money isn't an issue for you is it?
  9. Ah cheers, yeah I was thinking that might be the case.My car is lowered and I'm getting scrubbing with my current 18x8.5 as it is
  10. Hey guys, need to know if 18x9.5 +30 with 265s all round will fit R33 GTST? Any mods? Thanks
  11. Alright time for round 2. Could you put me down for: R33 Armrest cover R33 Wind deflectors Both in CF Cheers mate.
  12. They're Volk GTC's by the looks of it,not sure what series though.
  13. Mate, going from personal experience,I'd stick to a cheap basic car. I'm the same age as you and in some ways I regret buying a R33 turbo as my first car. The main reason being is that it costs a S*** load in petrol, and I'm on basic pay which doesn't help. It works out better in the long run to save that money wasted in general expenses in maintaining such a car, which will come in handy later on down the track. Besides,it's always better to learn to drive in a not so flash car and build up experience in that.If you happen to have a crash in the earlier stages of driving (not saying that you will), its better a crap car than a nice import, right? Then when you get your full license you'll have the reward of upgrading to a performance vehicle .
